Privacy policy — Theme Studio for Reddit

Purpose

Theme Studio for Reddit changes the appearance of the Reddit website in Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Firefox or Opera, using the corresponding browser edition. It has no developer backend, analytics, advertising trackers or separate sign-in.

Information processed and stored locally

The extension stores your theme, scene, glass, visibility and focus preferences in local extension storage. If you choose a custom picture, the extension processes it in your browser and stores a prepared image and its colour palette locally. It does not upload the picture or sync it to an ArclineLabs server.

The content script inspects the page structure and current route to apply styles and choose a scene for the current view. It does not collect, retain or transmit posts, comments, messages, account credentials, profiles or a browsing-history record. It does not automate posting, voting, messaging, calls or other account actions.

Network access and external links

Theme rendering uses bundled images, fonts, textures and executable code. There are no external image-processing, QR-generation or analytics services. QR images for voluntary developer support are bundled locally.

If you choose a support link or scan its QR code, your browser opens Razorpay or PayPal. Their websites process payments under their own policies. The extension does not collect payment credentials, bank details, transaction amounts or payment records. The QR codes contain only the public payment-page URLs.

If you email ArclineLabs, your email address, message and attachments are received in the support mailbox and used to respond to your request. Sending a report is optional. Please avoid sending private messages, credentials or unnecessary personal information. You may request deletion of your support correspondence by emailing the contact above.

The Reddit website continues to make its own normal network requests under its own policies. Opening our support or privacy website uses GitHub Pages hosting, which may process ordinary website request information under GitHub’s policies. The website includes no ArclineLabs analytics or tracking scripts.

Permissions and retention

The extension requests local storage and runs its content scripts only on its listed Reddit domains. It uses no broad browsing-history, cookies, account, microphone or camera permissions. Saved preferences and prepared pictures remain until changed, deleted or the extension is removed.

Your controls

Change settings in the popup or Anime Studio. Select Off to restore the site’s appearance for the current session; a deliberate website refresh returns to Anime Studio. Focus hides the scene and retains theme colours. Remove your picture deletes the prepared picture from extension storage. Removing the extension deletes its local extension data.

Data use

ArclineLabs does not sell extension data, use it for advertising, or transfer it to unrelated third parties. Local information is used only to provide the appearance features described here. Our use of user data follows the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
